GaaraNiita, Chap. 5

She woke up early the next morning, only yo find herself alone in the bed. She sighed with a mix of relief and disapointment.
When she came downstairs she could hear sounds from the kitchen and so she went inside to see that Gaara had made them a nice breakfast.

They sat in silence, not speaking a single word until Niita broke the silence. "It's good" Gaara only nodded in reply.

When they finished up they went outside to meet up with Hoji and Nira. Niita didn't say anything, but Gaara could see that se wanted to knock that bimbowhore of her feet.

He really wanted to put his arms around her and calm her down, but a the same time he was still embarrased over what he'd done to her that night. Even though she wanted it in the end he still felt like he had taken advantage of her.

"Just let it go" he whispered instead, seeing how his soft voice calmed her down a great deal, and that was when he realised he had put his hands on her shoulders.
Hoji looked at them with a big smile on his face, not noticing the jealousy in his wife's eyes. "The academy then?"
Gaara nodded and lead the way to the school.

"This is the first year Genins. We place them in year year classes. If they dont pass the first test they'll come in the Genin year two class. It's most common for the younger students to repeat a year or two as Genin leveled shinobis, but it is very rare that we have students repeating the Genin course for more than three years."

They went into a classroom and sat down in the backround, listening to the Jounin teacher talking about how to throw your shurikens and kunais in a proper and most damaging way.

After the class was over they continued to the Chuunin's class. They continued the day staying in with the Chuunin class. At lunch break Gaara said thoughtfully;

"You know, we do not require for all of our Chuunins to continue at the academy. It's merely an offer for those wanting to know more about techniques and the history of our town, weapons and other things that might come in handy on later missions"

Hoji nodded understanding "That's not a bad idea actually. Many of the shinobis that fail their mission, fail because they lack the knowledge that's required for the mission."


And so the day continued. Nira often tried to come near Gaara, flirt and seduce him, but Niita was  on the spot right away to protect her 'husband' from that evil woman.
In the end Gaara had to hold around her properly so that she wouldn't fly in the hag.
That seemed to be some sort of muscle relaxor for Niita, cause shi didn't say or move more than she had to, only letting Gaara lead her around.


The fire did not explode before Gaara closed the door to their home at sunset time.
"Why'd you let her do that!?" Niita screamed. "Do what?" "Oh you know very well what I mean! She was flirting with you again and you let her! No! Don't say a single word! I wont listen to you, I'm going to bed now. Kon-ban-wa!"
And with that she stormed up the stairs and locked herself in the bathroom.


20 minutes later Gaara found her sitting on the bed, looking out on the rain that had started to pour down.
"You'll sleep on the sofa.." she said quietly "Nani? It's my house! My bed! My choice! You're the one that's going to sleep on the sofa."

He walked up to her. "Yeah, you'd think, but I have the right to kick you out of the bed for being an asswipe!" "Why am I an asswipe?"

"Because you let that bitch flirt with you and you do so flirt back!" "Do not!" "Do to!" "Do not!!" "Oh yes you d... Auch!!" Niita had stepped on the broken glass from the night before.
Neither of them had found the time to clean it up and now Niita bled from a cut under her foot.

"What is it? Did you cut yourself?" She looked away from him, refusing to answer.
"Let me see" He picked up the towel from last night and sat down beside her. She still refused to look or talk to him, but did not refuse when he took her foot and layed it on his lap to examine it.

He wiped away the blood from it, but she whimped and twitched. "It hurts" she breathed, with tears in her eyes.

Gaara nodded understanding. "I think one of the shards went inside your foot, I will remove it, but it will hurt. Now just relax and.." "Gnnhh!!"

Niita burried her face in his shoulder and hid a painfull scream. The shard was out and Gaara whiped clean the wound with the towel, letting her cry into his shoulders.

When he was done he gestured her to move so he could leave, but she refused to let him go, holding him tighter.

"Take it easy ok? I'm just going to find you some bandage to stop the bleeding." And with that he rose and disappeared out the door.

Fice minutes later he returned, starting to wrap the bandage around her foot. When he was done he still held her foot, stroking it softly up and down, making her calm.

She closed her eyes, wrapping her fingers gently around his shoulders and pulled him down on the bed with her.
